The most important part of any type of presentation is content. The mistake some of us do is focus on designs and beautification and ignore the content and how it is showcased. Whether it is a presentation for any project or a business proposal the core objective has to be defined before attempting to write or seek reference content online.

Getting the flow right of your presentation is imperative and as per the flow defining slide wise context and content is a must.

You should use statistical references or design relevant infographics to support your numbers or any numeric content you state in your deck.

The language has to be simple. Brevity and a simple tonality to convey your message in each slide is very important. In fact a presentation is only like cue cards people use to moderate their speeches but the difference is a presentation is to highlight important facts and points that you can explain verbally but need a reference to fall back to or to emphasise upon. Your deck has to be as per the verbal narrative you want to talk about. Its always better to write down the pointers, define the flow of content, work on catchy and crisp taglines in a simple word doc or google word or a notepad, whatever is convenient for you to pen your thoughts down to. There has to be a writing process to your narrative.

Your content is the key to a successful presentation, so ensure that you write what you feel and present what you want the audience to consume. The content has to be relevant to your audience.

Over to you.
